Academics
At Gill Primary School, our focus is on educating our learners to not only be well-equipped academically, but also to ensure that they are able to adapt comfortably in all circumstances – learners who will be able to leave our premises ready to enter their high school phase as capable, disciplined, confident and mature teenagers.
We follow CAPS. We take pride in our academics and therefore have high standards for our learners. We encourage learner involvement and participation in classroom activities.

Computer centre
Our Computer Centre plays a vital role in the development of our learners, fulfilling the purpose of good quality teaching and learning.
We are so grateful to Mr Schalk Nolte, old Gillian and CEO of Entersekt, for the upgrade of our centre in March 2022.

We are blessed to have a variety of different resources available to our children to assist them in learning through play and interactive studying.
Inclusive curriculum
The CAPS curriculum includes all aspects from academics to arts and culture. We focus on building confident and ambitious children in our classrooms.
Teachers with years of experience
Our Afrikaans and English subject heads have both been teaching for
35 consecutive years at Gill Primary School. They have such an incredible passion for their languages.
