Gill Primary Hostel

Junior Hostel is an integral part of Gill Primary School. Accommodation is offered to learners from grade 1-7 from Monday morning until Friday afternoon. It also offers aftercare to our learners Monday-Thursday, from after school-17:00 to enable learners to attend their extra-mural activities.

Junior Hostel has the interests of the children at heart and contributes to the ethos of Gill Primary School.

A space to call your own

Our bedrooms come complete with a bed and a mattress. Boarders are encouraged to create their own space.

Spacious dining hall

Our boarders enjoy 3 home cooked meals daily served in our dining hall. We offer a locker for both our live-in and after care children, giving them a space to store their personal belongings.

Study hall

Academics is such an important part of a childs schooling career and we have found that giving them a study space that is their own increases their ability to focus. Our boarders are all allocated a study desk for which they make use of for 2 hours every day.

Homely lounging area

Relaxation and unwinding after a long school day is so important. Our lounging area is the perfect place for our children to kick their feet up and read a good book.

Gender separate dorms

Our double story building allows us to have two separate dorm sections for gender specific rooms. Each section has a hostel staff member present at all times.

Child friendly bathrooms

Our gender separate bathrooms are equipped with children basins, toilets, showers and comes complete with 3 baths.
